Finely engineered medical devices run like clockwork in our bodies; they open our veins, calibrate our heart, and continually monitor our well-being. But few see the inner workings of these minute powerhouses. Even fewer understand the math, science, and engineering that contribute to their success.
As we give you a glimpse into 21st century precision engineering, we will visualize intensive properties, tell you about companies, and interview designers. The small objects we photograph are sculptures. As Pablo Picasso said: "sculpture is the art of intelligence".
Spring and wire-form capabilities in wire diameters down to 0.0005" in round or shaped medical-grade wires. Materials include stainless steels, platinum alloys, gold, tantalum, titanium, MP35N, cored, and coated.
